Portrait of Maria Jacqueline Evans

I'm a literary translator working from Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, and French into English.

About me

Recently, a group translation (under the mentorship of Alison Entrekin) of the poem I am in today as if on a horse by Ana Martins Marques won third place in the Stephen Spender Prize.

My translation of Flash of Dignity (Dignidade-relâmpago) by José Falero appeared in Fictionable, along with a podcast interview with Falero.

Previously, my work has appeared in Other Worlds.

I also translate academic papers for publication in English-language journals.
